I can hardly believe that the ALA Annual 2023 Conference in Chicago is upon us!As I gather the things I’ll need for a long weekend full of learning，celebrations，and connecting with friends old and new，I’m keeping my energy and enthusiasm up with a particular playlist:the ALSC President’s Program 2023 Playlist!

This playlist includes excellent up-tempo tunes that are ideal for getting packed for conference–and it’s a perfect prelude to what is sure to be a phenomenal President’s Program on Monday afternoon of the conference.The President’s Program panel will feature three amazing leaders within the library and book community.I cannot wait to be in the room for this inspiring conversation about all the ways youth library workers are powerful，no matter their role.

Join us for a conversation with Newbery Award Winning Author Linda Sue Park;Author，Co-founder，and CEO of We Need Diverse Books Ellen Oh;and Dr.Ling Hwey Jeng，Professor and Director，School of Library，and Information Studies at Texas Woman’s University.This interactive program will explore ways to identify and activate leadership skills and areas of potential at all levels of library work.Space for connection，networking，and reflection will be included.
