Lighting industry in Korea, it has been brought up with small and medium enterprises, but now reorganizes centered by large enterprises. To reduce the using of electricity, progressive fair system is applied in residential part, and the development of lighting technologies and several policies are operated. Electricity for lighting has about 17% or more portions in total electrical power consumption. Korean likes high color temperature light, and the fluorescent lamp has the highest market share. The use of lighting simulation program is increasing, and the LED lighting is rapidly growing.
